NATUROPATHY
Air
Bath
Time spent lightly clad in fresh moving air, usually with a morning walk in the gardens. Naturopathy's simplest tonic for the skin, lungs, circulation and nerves.
01WHAT IT IS
The air bath exposes the skin to fresh, moving air in the cool of the morning or evening, lightly dressed, usually while walking slowly through the gardens. Naturopathy regards the skin as an organ of breathing and elimination, and the gentle stimulation of cool air tones it, deepens the breath and steadies the nerves.
It costs nothing and asks only for time outdoors, which is exactly why a program prescribes it: left to themselves, most guests would stay inside.

05QUESTIONS
Common questions about Air Bath.
Is a walk really a therapy?
Done slowly, in fresh air, with attention to the breath and at a set time each day, yes. The prescription is what turns a walk into treatment.
