YOGA & MEDITATION
Asana
Therapy
Postures prescribed and adapted for a specific condition, from back pain and stiffness to digestion and fatigue, taught one-to-one and taken home as a short daily practice.
01WHAT IT IS
Asana therapy uses yoga postures as prescription. After assessing how you move, the teacher selects a small set of asanas for your concern, adapts them with props and modifications, and teaches them precisely enough that you can repeat them at home. The aim is not a full class but a targeted sequence of ten to twenty minutes that changes something.
It is used for back and neck pain, joint stiffness, postural strain, digestive sluggishness, fatigue and recovery after a therapy course.

05QUESTIONS
Common questions about Asana Therapy.
How is this different from therapeutic yoga?
Therapeutic yoga is the whole program of movement, breath and relaxation for a condition. Asana therapy is its postural component, taught in focused detail.
