MASSAGE TREATMENTS
Lymphatic Drainage
Massage
Very light, rhythmic strokes that encourage lymph flow, easing puffiness, water retention and post-illness heaviness. Listed in our catalogue as Drainage Massage.
01WHAT IT IS
Lymphatic drainage is the gentlest massage we offer. Feather-light, rhythmic strokes move in the direction of lymph flow, toward the nodes at the neck, armpits and groin, encouraging the body to clear fluid and waste. There is no deep pressure at all; the skin is barely stretched.
It is used for puffiness and water retention, heaviness in the legs, recovery after illness or travel, and as part of detox programs.
02HOW IT IS DONE AT AROGYA
- 01
The therapist begins at the neck to open the main drainage points.
- 02
Light, pumping strokes work along the limbs and trunk toward the nodes.
- 03
Each region is treated in sequence, always toward the heart.
- 04
The session ends with a few minutes of rest.

05QUESTIONS
Common questions about Lymphatic Drainage Massage.
Why is the pressure so light?
Lymph vessels sit just under the skin and collapse under pressure. Light strokes move lymph; deep strokes do not.
