Mudra & Bandha
Therapy
Subtle yogic techniques, hand gestures and gentle internal locks, taught to refine breath and concentration practices and to support digestion, pelvic health and steadiness.
01WHAT IT IS
मुद्रा · बन्ध · Hand gestures and internal locks that direct energy
Mudras are gestures, most often of the hands, that yoga uses to influence the flow of attention and energy; Bandhas are gentle contractions, of the pelvic floor, the abdomen and the throat, that stabilise the body during pranayama and meditation. Both are subtle, require no flexibility, and add depth to the breathing and meditation practices you already have.
They are taught to guests who have a basic practice, with particular use in digestive, pelvic-floor and concentration concerns.
