Hydrotherapy
Water-based applications using carefully selected temperature, pressure and duration as part of a professionally guided wellness plan.
Hydrotherapy is one of the oldest pillars of naturopathy. Water at a chosen temperature, applied to a chosen part of the body for a chosen time, can stimulate or sedate circulation, ease pain, support digestion and elimination, and calm the nervous system. The seventeen applications in our collection range from short local baths for the arms, feet and spine to full immersion baths, contrast applications, compresses and ice therapy.
What matters is the prescription. A cold spinal bath and a neutral immersion bath produce very different effects, and the practitioner decides which is appropriate for your constitution and concern, how warm or cool the water should be, and how long the application should last. Hydrotherapy is a core part of our Naturopathy Stay and Day Care programs in Bahadurgarh and is often paired with mud therapy, diet guidance and massage.

02QUESTIONS
Common questions about Hydrotherapy.
What is a hip bath and what is it used for?
A hip bath immerses the pelvis and lower abdomen in water at a prescribed temperature while the rest of the body stays dry. Cold and neutral hip baths are traditionally used for digestive sluggishness, pelvic congestion and constipation; warm hip baths for cramps and pelvic pain. The temperature is decided by the practitioner.
Is hydrotherapy safe if I have blood pressure or heart concerns?
Some applications, particularly very hot or very cold immersion, are modified or avoided in cardiovascular conditions. Please share your history and medicines at consultation so that a suitable application can be chosen.
Do I need to bring anything?
Comfortable, easily changed clothing is enough. Towels and gowns are provided. Avoid a heavy meal in the hour before a bath.
A CONSIDERED NOTE
“Water can soothe, stimulate and restore, but the right application is always personal.”
Every treatment is subject to individual consultation and professional suitability.
